As the school year gets underway, we encourage new and returning parents to become involved with the many volunteer opportunities available at school. Volunteering in the classrooms and at recess, being part of the variety of school activities and committees organized through the school, and taking an active role in the Parent Club are all ways to make a positive contribution in meeting our collective mission of continuous school improvement. Our first-class Parents’ Club continues to enhance our small school with generous gifts of time, financial support, and all around ‘can-do’ dedication to our students and staff.
All volunteers at Mountain Elementary are required to complete the following:
Volunteers who wish to drive students must complete these items in addition to the list above:
- Proof of Insurance
- DMV Driving Record
We are working with our school insurance provider to make a mandated reporter training available to all those who wish to volunteer. I will have more details about this later this week. If you have completed a mandated reporter training in the last 6 months, please email the certificate to kpost@mountainesd.org
